Crazy for cupcakes…

For one of our WEDDING THINGS gal’s birthday, a few months ago I called upon one of my many fave cupcake bakers and ordered these fabulous Floral Garden Cupcakes.  It was a rich chocolate cupcake that looked like soil, with green “grass” icing and sugar flowers too.  They were waaay too pretty to eat!

Sweetiepie…coming soon to the West Village

Slated to open sometime this fall, Sweetiepie is gonna be a new kinda restaurant on the block, specifically at 19 Greenwich Ave. in the West Village of NYC.  Their dessert offerings are described as  a cross between a “bake-sale” and a fantasy land of Marie Antoinette sweets and pastries.
