Wedding throws, wedding toss, wedding confetti

To throw or not to throw?  That is the question….Traditionally rice was the most common thing to throw at wedding ceremonies as the bride and groom were coming down the aisle…showering them will good luck and fertility. Nowadays, biologists have stated that birds will choke on the raw rice and will not digest it properly, thus causing more harm than good.  Here are some new 21st century ideas for wedding toss, wedding confetti or wedding throw:

Bird seed – head out to your local bird feed store to find the best bird seeds for the local birds in your area…that way you are catering specifically to your native birds

Lavender – lightly scented, a handful of lavender, beautifully packaged in scalloped tulle rounds or circles and tied with a personalized wedding ribbon will make for very romantic wedding favors.

 

 

 

Wedding Bubbles – non-toxic and non-staining, wedding bubbles come in all kinds of shapes and sizes.  Each one comes with a wand and bubble liquid.  Some have silk flowers on top and others are shaped like a champagne bottle too.
